Job Summary:

This is a full-time position.

At Thomas, Ahnell, Laraway, & Smith LLC the Marketing Assistant plays an important role and will provide support to the marketing manager and the firm by maintaining firm social media organic and paid strategies, content production (written, video, graphic), the firm referral program, review management, and support administrative functions within marketing, providing a high level of service to our clients. This is an entry-level position with internal career growth opportunities for hungry, driven individuals.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for firm newsletter, including creating compelling, conversion focused written, video and graphic content, managing campaigns, managing contact lists and segmentation, and reporting
  • Responsible for the firm referral program, applying creative solutions to our outreach and messaging to former clients/brand ambassadors to increase referral leads
  • Responsible for the firm’s organic and paid social media management, including strategy and content creation using videos, graphics and other posts, managing communication inside social media and reporting on effectiveness
  • Responsible for review management, including outreach and response to reviews across platforms
  • Responsible for content creation, including but not limited to weekly blog posts, video creation, graphic design work, and ad hoc photography
  • Directory listing management
  • Responsible for our scholarship and community outreach campaigns including producing content, managing relations and report on effectiveness
  • Ability to assist with content creation and basic editing of websites in WordPress
  • Administrative work within marketing department
  • Keep company messaging concise and consistent with our brand
  • Make sure all company materials are accurate and relevant in accordance with company compliance policies

Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications are preferred for the position listed above:

  • 1-2 years experience as a marketing assistant or related role
  • Experience working in a law firm preferred
  • Professional schooling preferred (current students OK!)
  • Experience digesting and synthesizing data, and applying findings to future solutions and optimizations.
  • Experience using Adobe Suite, content creation software, Microsoft Office, Hootsuite, WordPress, email management software, Google Analytics, and other marketing software and automated social media posting software

Position Type: Full-time 40 hours/week

Compensation: $15-$18 Hourly

Accounting Assistant and Collections Representative

Our Firm is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant and Collections Representative at least 3 years of experience in accounting involving AP and AR. Some Duties / Responsibilities Include:

  • Vendor invoice entry and coding
  • Review accuracy and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner

  • Responds to and resolves accounts payable inquiries and questions.
  • Responsibly for task on monthly checklist as well as other duties as assigned
  • Maintains filing systems and organization of accounting documentation
